Terms of Service

1. The service

Pack Check-In helps dog owners check in at local dog parks, see who else is around, and connect with other owners. It's provided as-is, and features may change or be added over time.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You need to provide accurate information, including for your dog profiles - other owners rely on details like temperament tags to decide whether their dog is a good match. You can delete your account at any time from your profile page.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, messages, and profile details you post. By posting them, you give Pack Check-In permission to store and display that content within the app to other users, as intended by the app's features.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Post false or misleading information about your dog's temperament or behavior.
• Impersonate another person or dog.
• Post illegal, abusive, or sexually explicit content.
• Use the app to spam or advertise unrelated services.
• Submit false or bad-faith reports about another user.

5. Moderation and account suspension

Admins may remove content or suspend an account that violates these terms - including in response to reports from other users - at their discretion, to keep the community safe.

6. Disclaimer

Pack Check-In doesn't verify or guarantee the accuracy of any user-submitted information, including a dog's temperament, and isn't responsible for interactions between dogs or owners at a park. Meeting up with people or dogs from the app is always at your own judgment and risk.

7. Limitation of liability

The app is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Pack Check-In isn't liable for damages arising from your use of the app or interactions it facilitates.

8. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
